Setting Up Microsoft Outlook to Collect & Send Email

1 From the main Microsoft Outlook screen, Select Tools, Account Settings
2 On the Accounts Settings Screen click on new
3 Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP & click next
4 On the Add New E-mail Account check the "Manually configure server setting or additional server types" at the bottom of the screen. Click next The next screen should be for mail servers. Enter the following: Incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
5 Select Internet E-mail & click next. The account name is the email address: e.g. info@somedomain.ie Enter the password relevant to the email address.
6 On the Internet E-mail Setting page you need to enter the details for your email. Enter your name and the email address you want to set up.
7 Under Server Information you need to select POP3 as the account type. Incoming mail server name is mail.somedomain.ie (as advised with email address) The outgoing mailserver should be set to the outoing mailserver of your internet service provider. If you are using Eircom, then your outgoing mail server should be set to mail1.eircom.net
8 For logon information you need to enter your email address for username and the password advised by Euro Site Solutions
8 Click next and finish and your email should be set up. You should send an email to yourself to test the settings
