Setting Up Microsoft Outlook to Collect & Send Email

1From the main MS Outlook screen, Select Tools, Accounts, Add, Mail to start the new account wizard.
2For Display Name enter whatever you want to identify the mail address - click Next
3For E-Mail Address enter the email address, e.g. info@somedomain.ie. Click Next
4The next screen should be for mail servers. Enter the following: Incoming mail server is a POP3 server. Incoming mail server name is mail.somedomain.ie (as advised with email address) Outgoing mailserver(SMTP) mail.somedomain.ie (as advised with email address) Click Next
5The account name is the email address: e.g. info@somedomain.ie Enter the password relevant to the email address.
6Click next and select your connection type
7If requested select the appropriate connection.
8Click next and finish
